Outdoor Maternity Photo Session | Victoria, Texas

Updated: May 16

This was such a lovely maternity photography session. This beautiful mother-to-be is expecting a little boy and wanted some special pictures to commemorate the excitement and anticipation before the newest member of the family arrives. It was wonderful to spend some time with her and her family. They were super easygoing and just perfect with posing. And I love the pretty fall colors! Mom’s yellow dress was so sunny and complemented her complexion and dark hair so well.

A maternity photo shoot is a great way to do something special for yourself. The resulting photos are memories you’ll treasure forever. Plus they make perfect gifts, announcements, and home décor.

I like to keep my maternity photography sessions simple so we can focus on you. Mothers are naturally beautiful and you deserve to be the center of attention on an occasion like this! Most of my maternity sessions take place outdoors, with sunshine, grass, and trees as our backdrop. No one can put together a set like Mother Nature can.

A maternity photography session with Michelle Pena Photography starts out at $275.00

This includes high-resolution digital images. And family members, such as your partner or other children, are welcome to come and join in as well!

What to Wear

This really depends on your preferred style. If you have your own maternity gown, or if you’re going for a more casual look, you’re welcome to come in an outfit from home. If you don’t feel like you have something appropriate, don’t worry! You also have the option of wearing one of my simple, elegant dresses at no additional cost.

When to Book

As always, I recommend the earlier the better, since this will guarantee you a spot. Although last-minute openings are welcome, booking ahead of time gives you peace of mind. I generally recommend doing maternity pictures around 32 weeks. Ideally, we want to photograph you when your belly is nice and round, but while you still feel comfortable enough for a portrait session.

If you have any questions, please contact me! I would love to capture this special time for you and your family.
